Over Labor Day weekend Miss Kaia and I road tripped in the Suby down to Bozeman to enjoy some baby festivities with my lady friends (well, most of them...anyway! :)). It was SUCH a special weekend, my sweet friend Kristen flew in from Portland for it and also planned the event with Kira and GG. THANK YOU ladies! It was an amazing, heartfelt day and I am still feeling all of your love and hugs even now...days later :)
Not being a big traditional baby shower kinda gal (the whole melted candy bars in the diaper and various toilet paper games make me throw up in my mouth a little bit...), Kristen and the ladies planned a Native American ceremony (Blessing Way) that included all of my favorite things...food, good music, henna tattoos, words of wisdom and support from all of the ladies I admire most. Kaia is one lucky girl to be born into this group of gals :)
Please visit my friend Meggan's blog for shots of the event. Thank you Kristen, Kira, GG and Stephanie! I love you all! :)
